When I measure property lines using Paces the distances do not match measurements taken with a wheel.

Measuring with paces can be reasonably accurate if you are used to measuring this way.  If your measurements are incorrect in SiteCapture Pro, most likely it is due to the setting for Pace length.

To set the Pace length:
1. From the File menu, select Preferences.
2. Click the Units Tab
3. Set the unit of measurement type is the underlying default unit of measurement.
4. Enter the Pace length.  The length should be based on the default unit.  If the default unit is Feet and the length of your stride is 3 feet, you would enter 3 as the pace length.

Note: do not enter units marks in the pace length.

Correct:  Default unit= Feet    Pace Length=3
Incorrect: Pace length = 3 ft, 3 feet, 3'

Accuracy note: Measuring with paces is an approximate method of measuring.  The level of accuracy will be different for each person based on experience and comfort with measuring in this fashion.
